Over the past 4 years, Max has been growing his hair and today, he took the brave step of donating it to Wigs for Kids! ✂️👏 Not only did Max donate his hair, but he also raised an incredible $2,867 to support this amazing cause. We couldn’t be prouder of his generosity and dedication! A huge thank you to Erin for donating her time to give Max the perfect cut! 💇‍♀️ We also want to extend a special thank you to Rochelle and Holly, representatives from Kids with Cancer, who presented Max with a thoughtful gift. Thank you for acknowledging this brave act! 👏

Stage 1 was visited today by Fr Raymond. We enjoyed asking lots of questions about our current unit, The Church. We also suggested some crazy hair styles for Fr Raymond to try so he could join in our crazy hair day. Thank you for visiting.

Remembrance Day. Together, led by Year 5 we acknowledged Remembrance Day. We gathered to honour those who have served our country and to reflect on the history of this important day. A minute of silence was held to pay respect for those who have, and still are, facing the challenges of war. Our year 6 students represented the school at the Richmond RSL service where Luke and Jacinta laid a wreath at the cenotaph on behalf of our school community. They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them. Lest we forget.
