We provide opportunities for students to connect with the Catholic faith and traditions in a meaningful way.
Based on contemporary research, the new approach to Religious Education across the diocese is focused on addressing questions students have about their faith and life.
St Monica’s offers students and their families the chance to belong to a caring, Catholic community that aims to bring to life the teachings of the Gospel in all that we do. Our school has a close relationship with the local parish and works in partnership with the parish and school community to give our students a firm foundation in faith and to celebrate what it means to be Catholic in today’s world.
Our students are involved in activities that deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith such as daily prayer, guided meditation, social justice and outreach, and celebration of the Word of God.
St Monica’s school community enjoys supporting many charities and outreach programs. Red Nose Day, Daffodil Day, St Vincent de Paul and Hawkesbury Christian Church food drives, San Miguel and Bandana Day are just a few of the projects we have supported. Each class works to raise the funds to support a child through World Vision, an outreach project that has been running in our school for over 10 years.
