St Nicholas Netball Gala Day

On the 11th of September St Monicas Richmond competed in the St Nicholas Netball gala day at Jamison Park in Penrith. The teams were made up of a mix of between 48 boys and girls from years 4-6. Throughout the day each school that participated played 7-9 games depending on the results of each game.

All children demonstrated great enthusiasm, resilience, and sportsmanship on the day,Students also demonstrated their great skills and techniques learned throughout their sports classes and training lessons. Our students were cheered on by our amazing parent and grandparent cheer squads throughout the day being very cheerful for each of the student's games.

Congratulations to our Year 6 Boys and Year 5 Girls teams who were both very successful as they were undefeated champs of the day. Many thanks would like to go out to the umpires from Bede Polding College as well as the parents from St Joephes primary as they were the fantastic managers for each of our netball teams.

Lastly another big thank you would like to go out to Mrs Harper and Mrs Kemble for being spectacular trainers and coaches for the boys and girls through the whole netball gala day experiences. See you again next!
